Building a NAS

Im currently tinkering with the idea of building a NAS server using freeNAS.

I have an all in one motherboard with a sempron 1500+ and 512mb of ram aching to be resolved from obsolete-ness!

So my plan is to hopefully boot freeNAS from a flash drive and turn my 1.5 tb(1.36tb when formatted) removable drive  into 1.5 tb of network attached spankingness!!

I haven’t checked yet but hopefully freeNAS will let me network my printer too 😀

Things probably wont go to plan but im sure with enough googling and searching forums ill get it running soon!
